Huawei's Heisenberg Research Center in Munich is responsible for advanced technology research, architectural development, design and strategic engineering of our products.In the Automotive Engineering Lab (AEL) teams are rapidly growing and focused on advanced automotive technologies in multiple domains.Join Automotive Engineering Lab (AEL) as:AI/ML Engineer (Leased Labor 18-months) (m/f/d)Your missionApply state of the art approaches to ensure smooth operation of AI/ML activities in the AEL Safety Team.Set up and maintain end-to-end AI pipelines, large-scale datasets, and deep learning frameworks.Develop and automate the AI engineering lifecycle, including model training and data labeling workflows.Implement data pre- and post- processing, including data transformations, cleaning, and filtering.Monitor and optimize the use of GPU resources, ensure system stability and performance.Deploy open-source models and conduct benchmarks.Your areas of expertiseBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science / Analytics, Computer / Electrical Engineering or similar field.Experience and proficient skills in AI/ML design, training and implementation, AI frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, Keras, Python programming and data pre-/post-processing.Experience in deploying AI models using LLM related model.

Experience in deployment of end-to-end models for automotive is an advantage.Knowledge in CI/CD environments, Docker, scripting and build/deploy process automation.Hands-on attitude and positive engagement to integrate into a high-performance team.Proficiency in English.
