We are looking for a hands-on Chemical Technical Assistant (CTA) or Lab Technician who takes pride in their lab work.

Your mission Join aevoloop, a deep-tech startup in Leipzig, where we are pioneering the next generation of circular plastics.

You routinely perform instrumental and wet-chemical analyses to precisely characterisze our next-generation materials (e.g., NMR, IR spectroscopy, DSC, titrations). • Synthesis Execution: You support syntheses (specifically polycondensations) on a bench and pilot scale, reliably and accurately executing reactions according to established standard operating procedures (SOPs). • Daily Lab Routine & Excellence: You ensure smooth lab operations.

This includes preparing and maintaining glassware, sample preparation, material drying, and general lab organization. • Precision & Documentation: You ensure our measurement data is rock-solid.

This includes regular calibration of analytical instruments, maintaining detailed lab journals, and assisting in drafting clear SOPs. • Safety & Organization: You maintain a safe, high-standard working environment (GLP) and ensure analytical equipment is always ready for the next run.

Your profile • Education: Successfully completed vocational training as a CTA (Chemical Technical Assistant), Chemielaborant, or a similar technical background.

Academic degrees or Techniker qualifications are considered, but this is a hands-on technical role where practical bench experience is our top priority. • Analytical Expertise: Strong practical experience in general instrumental and wet-chemical analytics (especially NMR, IR, DSC, titration).

Experience in specialized polymer testing (e.g., MFR/MFI, tensile testing) or prior experience in a plastics laboratory is a major plus! • Synthesis Experience: Experience in carrying out organic syntheses safely according to protocol (SOPs).

Specialized knowledge of polymers or reactors is advantageous, but not mandatory—we are happy to train you. • Technical Routine: You feel "at home" in the lab. You are confident operating analytical instruments, preparing samples, and performing routine instrument calibrations. • Mindset: You bring a "maker" mentality.
