Responsibilities
• Pursue new sales opportunities through relationship building, prospecting, referrals, networking, trade shows, and in‑person sales calls
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with current and prospective customers
• Generate and follow up on quotes, proposals, and sales opportunities
• Provide exceptional customer support through responsiveness, consistency, and proactive communication
• Identify customer needs and recommend innovative laboratory and scientific supply solutions
• Maintain regular communication with Midland Scientific leadership and support teams
• Attend periodic sales meetings and product training sessions
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree required, a degree in Biology, Chemistry or Supply Chain Management is preferred
• Prior outside sales experience required, especially in laboratory, scientific, industrial, or technical sales
