Our client is a research institute - built on Nobel Prize winning technology - who are looking to revolutionize minimally invasive diagnostics in the coming years. They are now seeking a Laboratory Leader to establish and manage a pioneering Metabolomics Laboratory in Bavaria.

Responsibilities:

• Build from the ground up: Take ownership of establishing a world-class laboratory infrastructure.
• Lead and innovate: Oversee lab operations, develop analysis processes, and expand a high-performing scientific team.
• Utilize advanced technologies: Work with both NMR and LC-MS for metabolomics research on biological samples.
• Collaborate with excellence: Work directly under a Nobel Prize-winning CEO and contribute to groundbreaking research.
• Access to unmatched resources: Leverage a unique repository of high-quality biological samples to drive innovation and high-impact scientific publications.

Requirements

• Expertise in metabolomics - Strong experience in establishing and managing NMR- and LC-MS-based laboratories.
• Scientific excellence - A proven track record in metabolomics research and analysis. (7+ years)
• Leadership skills - Ability to lead a growing team and drive innovation.
• EU or Swiss Citizenship - Required for this role.
• Experience working with human samples.
